Dr. Rosario Valer Dr Rosario Valer What do you do in Limakids? I provide medical care to streetchildren at the clinic and participate in street visits and health campaigns. I’m currently working in a protocol to investigate parasite infections. What is the change you hope to make through your work with Limakids? I want my patients to recognize their own healthcare needs and to apply and share the knowledge they have acquired at the Streetclinic campaigns in order to prevent adolescent pregnancies, substance abuse and infectious diseases such as TB or sexual transmitted diseases. What do you like most about Limakids? The satisfaction of deliver medical care and health education where is really needed. |
